GETTING THERE
For those flying in, we recommend arriving by Friday afternoon, October 10,
to make the most of the festivities. The closest airports are George Bush
Intercontinental (IAH) and William P. Hobby (HOU).
We’ll also be hosting a farewell brunch on Sunday for anyone who can make it—
but no worries if you need to head back sooner.

ACCOMMODATIONS
We have secured room blocks from Friday, October 10 to Sunday, October 12 at the hotels
listed below, but you’re welcome to stay wherever you’d like. We recommend choosing a
hotel in the same areas as these to ensure you're conveniently located for all wedding events.

THINGS TO DO
If you have some free time during the weekend, here are a few
great ways to explore Houston!

EAT
Houston’s food scene is unbeatable, with incredible
barbecue, Tex-Mex, and everything in between.
Here are some of our favorite spots to grab a bite:
- Lupe Tortilla for the best fajitas in town
- The Pit Room for local barbeque
- Goode Company Seafood for Gulf Coast classics
- Brennan’s for upscale New Orleans fare
- The Original Carrabba’s for family-owned Italian
DRINK
From classic ranch waters to local craft beer,
these spots are perfect to grab a drink (and
watch the Texas vs. OU game!):
- Kirby Ice House for a Houston staple
- St. Arnold Beer Garden for award-winning beers
- The Rustic for live country music and margs
- Toulouse for French classics and rose all day
- Bayou & Bottle for craft bourbon cocktails

Whether you want to explore Houston’s
museums, enjoy the outdoors, or experience
something uniquely Houston, there’s plenty to do:
- Run, bike or walk around Buffalo Bayou Park
- Play a round of golf at Memorial Park
- Visit the Museum of Fine Arts
- Visit the historic 19th street in the Heights
for thriftshops, artsy stores & restaurants
